Professionally the firm enjoys a national reputation. It supplies several of its sales help publications to many small as well as the largest music stores throughout the country. Mr. Emert S. Rice served for one year as secretary and three different three-year terms as a board member of the National Association of Music Merchants. He was Chairman of the Association's Trade Practice Committee, Chairman of its Business Ethics Committee, and Chairman of the Trade Practice Committee of the Music Industry. Jyotindra popularly known as (JP) in the music industry has been in the piano retail business for over 35 years. He is a member of National Association of Music Merchants. Mary is an accomplished classical pianist and has a Doctorate in Piano performance. She is a member of the National Association of Music Teachers and also a very active member of the Columbia Music Teachers Association.
